Nature or Nurture

Good Evening God's Men,
In this week's thought, we are just going to raise questions and leave you to think about your own position.
Do people become who they are, because of "nature or nurture." You've heard the arguments, pro and con for these two ideas, so which is it? As believers in Jesus Christ, do we emulate His person and stand as complete/whole beings because of nature or nurture? Is the solution to our daily struggle embedded in nature or nurture?
It is great to have a good home life and all that comes with it, bible study, Christian education, good moral standards, nice parents, quality family time, daily devotions, etc. All of these things are nurturing. Can they be enough to give us what we need to see the King someday in peace? In other words, you must be more moral than the most moral person you know. You may know all the doctrine of sanctification, but are you working it out in the everyday issues of your life? Every detail of your life, whether physical, moral, or spiritual, is to be judged and measured by the standard of the atonement by the Cross of Christ.
You are being asked and provide an answer for yourself. Is Nature or Nurture the answer? What say you? Have a blessed and sacred week.
Shalom!
