Resurrection Weekend

Christ tells us that He is the Resurrection and the Life, and all lasting Life emanates from Him. We search for life in many wrong ways; chasing after fleeting pleasures, accumulating possessions and wealth, trying to deny the inevitable effects of aging. Meanwhile, Jesus freely offers abundant life to everyone who turns towards Him.

The more intimately you experience Christ, the more convinced you will become of His goodness. Jesus is the Living One who sees you and longs to participate in your life. He is training you to find Him in each moment and to be a channel of His loving Presence. Sometimes blessings come to you in mysterious ways: through pain and trouble. As such times you can know His goodness only through your trust in Him.

When Jesus appeared to His disciples after the resurrection, it was peace that He communicated first of all. He knew this was their deepest need: to calm their fears and clear their minds. He also speaks peace to you, for He knows your anxious thoughts. Listen! Tune out other voices so you can hear Him more clearly. He designed you to dwell in pease all day, every day. Draw near to Him; receive His Peace.
