The Anthropology of the Spirit Centered Man!

During the 2019 Dedicated Man Men’s Ministry Retreat, our spirit man was awakened by the wisdom God impressed His servants to share. We ingested words on “The Anthropology of Man” and “The Spirit Centered Man!” We feasted on “A Life of Good Health” and “Love the One You With!” We came to understand that all of scripture is God trying to give us back what we lost in the Garden of Eden. Still further, we learned that the origin of secrets began with sin and every idea has consequences. Finally, it became clear that guilt and shame make up the environment necessary for a secret. We don’t become sinners by doing wrong but by being born. Sin is a fundamental relationship—it is not wrongdoing but wrong being—it is deliberate and determined independence from God. It is when we are reborn that we are able to live the life God has ordered for us. The Holy Spirit speaks to our spirit not our soul and sometimes He only speaks once. Whoever has residence in our spirit (Christ or His enemy) will control our soul and body using our thoughts, emotions and flesh. Thus, we must be careful to vigorously maintain God’s perspective, and remember that it must be done every day, little by little. We must go to bed and wake up in the spirit, not the news, Prime Video or Netflix. How are we going to get a life that has no lust, no self-interest, and is not sensitive to the ridicule of others? How will we have the type of love that is kind … is not provoked, and thinks no evil? When Adam and Eve sinned, their spirit broke from God’s Spirit and through them gained ascendency to control our lives through our emotions and will. Being reborn doesn’t change the fact that trauma still resides in our soul, which is not converted even with the Holy Spirit. The Good News is Jesus Christ reconciled the human race, putting it back to where God designed it to be. And now anyone can experience that reconciliation, being brought into oneness with God, on the basis of what our Lord has done on the cross. Most of us develop our Christianity along the lines of our own nature, not along the lines of God’s nature. However, we must allow nothing from the old life to remain. Yet, we don’t die to self, we Deny Self! Luke 9:23 We don’t surrender to our Lord, and nowhere in the bible are we told to do so. We must SUBMIT to His authority; it is the only way we can be used. A person who surrenders would be untrustworthy. We actually slander and dishonor God by our very eagerness to serve Him without knowing Him. Human holiness that is not based on the atonement of the Lord has no value for anything except a life of isolation --- it is useless to God and a nuisance to man. Submit; yield your rights and expectations. Victory that glorifies God increases your faith and is a benefit to others.
